How did this first month go since the opening of Snow Park Borosport?

In short: incredibly emotional and exciting with fabulous elements, lots of snow, music and new friends! The snow is meters high but this is no trouble to the shapers in maintaining the park in perfect condition. Each visitor, be it a skier or a snowboarder – can find their favorite element to improve their abilities. Sporting clubs such as Boro Board, Moten, Lavina, Blade are regular visitors and hold their training sessions there. Their daring tricks and elaborate style fully deserve the applauses from the other visitors. At the children line many kids make fast progress and display cute tricks even on the big jumps. The snowboarding and freestyling culture is growing at a fast pace right before our eyes.  

At end-January Snow Park Borosport welcomed some hundred fans of the freestyling in Bulgaria at the first in its kind ski and snowboarding Big Air Open race for children and teens. The race was extremely interesting for both the participants and the numerous audience which gathered along Popangelov ski run where the park is situated. The special surface lift which services the middle line of the park helped the participants move quickly along the trail and display the maximum number of tricks. Boxes and rails, made by Schneestern, famous worldwide, also helped Bulgarian fans. They can now save money on trips to Austria and Italy as they can enjoy riding on like quality elements in Bulgaria.

The unique jumps bring a touch of excitement to winter tours in the mountains as tourists have the chance to test their adrenaline and take pictures of themselves flying in the air.
On February 25th was held this year’s Saturday Extreme Session. The jam session for snowboarders held by the organizers was matchless and sponsoring company Burton provided some BGN 2700 in material awards.
At end-March snowboarding and ski freestyling fans will welcome Dragon Slope Style – an event destined to all professionals on a unique in Bulgaria professional slope style trail, designed and executed by Borosport and Snow Park Borosport. To all fans of freestyling, high adrenaline, snow, sun and music Snow Park Borosport wishes joy and delight till the end of the season!
